Kindersay is a great FREE website. You do have to sign up for an account, but it does not cost a penny. It has tons of pictures that are already categorized. You can click on a category (i.e. "animals") and watch the slide show of pictures. The pictures are real pictures, not cartoon drawings. Paired with the pictures is the voice of someone saying the word. The audio is very clear. Kindersay has a few extra features that are really cool. Once you have an account, you can start individualizing your pictures. When viewing a picture, you can click "add to favorites" and that picture will be added to your "favorites" category. There is also a "family" section. You can choose which word you would like to use for each family member (i.e. "mum", "mom", "mother", "mommy", "mama", "godmother", "ma", "step mom", etc). You can then upload a picture of that person! It also has a section that shows a picture, the print word, and its sign.
This is a great website for preschoolers or kids who fall into the early language category. If your child is working on listening comprehension, this would also be a great activity for him/her (granted that he/she is 2 years or older).
